About Schlitt Electric
For 24 years Schlitt Electrical Contracting has delivered commercial, industrial and high-end residential electrical work across Vero Beach and the Treasure Coast, with crews built to handle specification-driven projects from start to finish.
How we're organized
Each line of work has its own crew, so large contracts, custom homes and service calls all get the attention they need.
Field leadership
A superintendent oversees day-to-day field operations, crew scheduling and quality across every job.
Commercial crews
Experienced electricians on dealerships, industrial plants and multi-family buildings, with at least two major projects running at all times.
Residential crew
A steady crew that works with the same custom home builders year after year and knows their standards.
Service team
A dedicated service van for repairs, device changeouts, LED upgrades and energy audits.
Long-term relationships
Most of our work comes from clients who hire us again.
Custom home builders
We wire new homes for three to four established builders who bring us onto their projects as a matter of course.
Island renovations
Homes in communities like Johns Island are typically renovated every ten years, creating a steady cycle of rewiring work we've been part of for years.
Commercial clients
We've completed four dealership projects and continue to win industrial and multi-family work on the strength of past jobs.
Where our standards come from
Founder Gary Schlitt learned the trade on some of Florida's largest commercial projects, then brought that standard home to Vero Beach.
